If I were to create an app..

                 Movies nowadays are part of people’s lives. People who want to be entertained would usually go to their nearest cinema to see what movies are being screened. Some would even wait for the DVD Release of a movie that just came out just to get a “bootleg” version of it on the illegal parts of the internet. Same goes to music. Almost every single teenager I see in public are wearing their earphones, listening to a “cool” playlist that they just made. But sometimes, the file size of the music and movies can be a turn off to people with slower internet connections or insufficient storage. And that is why if I were to create or code an app, it would be a movie or music compression app.

               

                Compressing movies and music today usually has a downside. Let’s say you compressed a 720p movie with a file size of 800 MB so that it could fit in your phone that has little storage left. Sure, the file size will be reduced drastically but you’d have to sacrifice its quality. A converted 720p High Definition video would look like millions of pixels fighting each other on the screen. Or a 320 KB/s high quality song that is converted would sound like 64 KB/s one. So this app that I am making will compress the file size without sacrificing the quality so people can still enjoy lossless movies or music without the terrible quality. So that people with small storages on their hard drive, on their phone, or people who just want to download millions of songs or movies without hurting their storage can still download the files they want, compressed, while the quality stays the same.
